Hello everyone! I am Sophie Russo and am a graduate student in the Information Systems program at UMSL. This year I am attending GHC as a GHC Scholar, having received a full scholarship to the conference. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to attend the conference for a second time, as I learned so much from GHC2015 but was only able to make it to a handful of the sessions I wanted to attend.
Things I hope to learn: How I can help my company both recruit and retain top female talent in the tech industry, how I can make the most out of my mentoring and learning opportunities at work, and how I can help get young women interested in tech at an early age.
This blog is short because I have a paper and a presentation due tonight, but I’m excited for the post-test-reward that comes tomorrow morning in Houston!
