Hello, I’m Samyukta Varre. I’m a graduate student in Information Systems with an emphasis in Business Intelligence. I’m very excited and privileged to be attending the Grace Hopper Conference second time in a row.
Previous Experience from GHC 2015: It was refreshing to see so many passionate people joining together to discuss the latest innovations in technology and how each of us can work together to empower women to thrive in the information technology space. The sessions that I attended on Data Science, IOT and few others opened new ‘windows’ for me to see things differently. It was such an honor to hear from a panel of senior women who work at the Johnson Space Center GHC was, above all, an eye-opening experience that solidified everyone’s interest in technology.
I’m excited and can’t wait to attend GHC 2016. #UMSL2GHC
