My name is Prachi Talwar and I am studying Information systems. It is my senior year and Fall 2019 is going to be my last semester as an undergrad.
I read so many articles about women in IT every day. Women in computing have come a long way and have constantly proved how dedicated they are. I have always dreamt of being one of those, who have changed the world with their knowledge. I would like to attend the conference because it will expand my knowledge about programming and help me decide in what field I am looking for jobs. I attended the USITCC conference in Galveston with 4 other students and I learned a of new things at that time. So I would like to use this opportunity to meet new people, look for employment opportunities and learn about new fields in IT and share my experience with other IS students at UMSL.
Being an international student at UMSL, this is very big opportunity for me.
