Hello my name is Karina Almeida. I am currently a student at UMSL, planning to graduate in December 2019.
Why would I like to attend GHC? Last year after some classmates returned from the Grace Hopper Celebration, they talked about how they enjoyed it and how it was a wonderful opportunity for them. I didn’t know about the conference back then, after hearing their stories and doing some research it became very interesting and I thought it would be a great opportunity for myself to attend.
As a female in technology I would like to see what are all the opportunities out there for myself, and would like to learn from others as well. I am also interested in attending sessions about the emerging technologies.
