Mirthday, the annual springtime student celebration at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, has gone big time this year with the addition of British Indian R&B star Jay Sean and Jason Derulo, another R&B singer songwriter who has been opening for Lady Gaga on her Monster Ball tour.

Sean and Derulo along with Fitz and the Tantrums will perform at the Mirthday concert at 7 p.m. April 21 in Anheuser-Busch Hall at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center on UMSL’s North Campus, One University Blvd. in St. Louis. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are available at the Touhill box office or by calling 314-516-4949. Tickets are $18 in advance, $20 at the door, $5 for UMSL students with a valid ID (limit 4 tickets per student).

The student-run University Program Board sponsors Mirthday. A carnival that runs from noon to 5 p.m. April 21 includes, rides, games, food, music and novelty acts. It will take place in parking lots C and D adjacent to the Millennium Student Center on North Campus.
