Former UMSL faculty member Christine Flavin will show her photography for the Gallery FAB exhibit "Where I Am Now," which will be on display Aug. 22 to Sept. 16.

Former St. Louisian Christine Flavin will show “Where I Am Now,” a photography exhibit in Gallery FAB at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. The exhibit will be on display from Aug. 22 to Sept. 16. A reception will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 12 in the gallery.

Flavin was a former art faculty member at UMSL. She is now an assistant professor and head of photography at Northern Michigan University in Marquette.

“Where I Am Now” will showcase a trio of Flavin’s portfolios: “U.P. Road Trips,” “Abandoned Mining Sites” and “A Month of Horizons.”

Gallery FAB is at 201 Fine Arts Building at Rosedale Drive and Florissant Road in St. Louis County (63121). All exhibits at the gallery are free and open to the public. Regular hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday.
