WOMEN’S GOLF
The women’s golf team recorded a third place finish at the Ray Wright/Screaming Eagle Invitational, held Sunday and Monday and hosted by University of Southern Indiana in Vanderburgh County. The Tritons carded a 638 (324-314) in the 18-team field and were led by junior Shweta Galande, who placed ninth individually.

VOLLEYBALL
UMSL hit the road for the first time this season last weekend and picked up wins at Quincy (Ill.) University and the University of Illinois Springfield to improve to 6-2 overall and 4-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

WOMEN’S SOCCER
Senior Kaylee Neutzling netted the game winner in the first overtime to help the women’s soccer team to a 2-1 win over visiting Saint Joseph’s College (Rensselaer, Ind.) Friday night. Sunday’s game against the University of Indianapolis was rained out. The Tritons are now 3-2 on the season and 2-1 in the GLVC.

MEN’S SOCCER
The UMSL men’s soccer team drew its third double overtime tie of the season in a 1-1 draw against visiting Saint Joseph’s College Friday. Senior Mike McCarthy netted the goal for the Tritons. Sunday’s game against the University of Indianapolis was postponed and was reschedule for Sept. 20 at noon at the Scott Gallagher Complex in Maryland Heights, Mo.

MEN’S TENNIS
The UMSL men’s tennis team continued its fall season at the Lynn Imergoot Invitational, hosted by Washington University in St. Louis, Friday-Saturday at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis’ Forest Park. In addition to UMSL and WUSTL, Lindenwood University (St. Charles, Mo.) and Saint Louis University also competed.

UMSL Tritons weekly rewind

Devin Livingstone and the men’s soccer team knocked off William Jewell and Truman State over the weekend to lock up their first Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament berth since 2021.
