The Pazazz Performers will perform at 7 p.m. Dec. 4 for their second annual gala in the Touhill at UMSL.

The Pazazz Performers of the St. Louis Academy of Dance want to share their art while also giving back to the local community. They’ll do both at 7 p.m. Sunday (Dec. 4) for the group’s second annual gala in the E. Desmond and Mary Ann Lee Theater at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center.

Proceeds from the gala will benefit Drea’s Dream, a dance therapy and expressive movement program for children with cancer and special needs, as well as help support and fund Pazazz Performers.

Youarehere Dance, Kari James Dance Network, Common Thread Contemporary Dance Company and Tiger Ball Z will perform at the gala.

The Pazazz Performers are an award-winning, pre-professional performing company in residence at St. Louis Academy of Dance. The dancers are selected by audition and study ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, musical theater, pointe and choreography. Pazazz Performers can be seen dancing at community and civic events throughout St. Louis including Dancin’ in the Streets, Loop in Motion, St. Louis Dance Festival, Working Women’s Survival Show, National Dance Week and Earth Day.

Tickets for the dance concert are $15. They are on sale now at the Touhill ticket office; online at touhill.org or by phone at 314-516-4949.

The Touhill ticket office is on the University of Missouri–St. Louis’ North Campus, 1 University Blvd. in St. Louis County (63121).
