Chesterfield-based Alexandra Ballet will stage "The Sleeping Beauty" Feb. 25 and 26 at the Touhill.

A cast of dancers, guest artists and actors from Alexandra Ballet will perform the enduring classic “The Sleeping Beauty” at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. Performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 25 and 2 p.m. Feb. 26 in the Anheuser-Busch Performance Hall at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center.

“The Sleeping Beauty” is a classic fantasy tale of good triumphing over evil. The performance is suitable for children of all ages.

The Alexandra Ballet is a 28-year-old dance company based in Chesterfield, Mo. In 2004, it became the first ballet company to stage a performance at the Touhill.
