UMSL Tritons Vinnie Raimondo and Eli Weigley, a senior and junior, respectively, during the 2012-13 men’s basketball season, were named to the NABC Honors Court.

University of Missouri–St. Louis graduate Vinnie Raimondo and senior-to-be Eli Weigley have been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court for their success in the classroom during the 2012-13 year.

The NABC Honors Court recognizes the talents and gifts of student-athletes off the court and the work they exhibit in the classroom. In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria. This includes being a junior or senior varsity athlete with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher for the 2012-2013 academic year, with at least one year of matriculation at their current institution.

This year, more than 700 student-athletes from 285 colleges and universities were honored.

The NABC honors players from all across the country in NCAA Division I, II, II and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics as members of its Honors Court.
