The UMSL women’s basketball team’s 10-game win streak came to an end with a loss to Lewis Saturday. They look to start their next win streak Thursday against Truman State.

The University of Missouri–St. Louis (11-2, 4-1 Great Lakes Valley Conference) extended its winning streak to 10 games on Thursday night with a 74-50 win over Wisconsin-Parkside, but saw it come to an end on Saturday with a 67-60 loss to Lewis. Senior Devonna Smith averaged 15 points and 12 rebounds per game. The UMSL Tritons travel to Truman State on Thursday night before returning home to host Quincy on Saturday.

Men’s Basketball
UMSL (9-4, 3-2 GLVC) lost a pair of league games last weekend to two of the GLVC East Division leaders. Wisconsin-Parkside took an 89-76 decision over the Tritons on Thursday night, while No. 17 ranked Lewis scored the game-winner with 5.8 seconds to play on Saturday to garner an 82-80 win. Senior Femi John averaged 20.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game for the Tritons, which return to the court Thursday at Truman State before a home contest against Quincy on Saturday.
