Yates, Cope of men’s golf named to Division II PING All-Region Team

Juniors Colby Yates and Anthony Cope of the University of Missouri–St. Louis men’s golf team have been named to the Division II PING All-Midwest Region Team, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Yates, who earns PING All-Region honors for the second straight year, posted a team second-best 75.14 scoring average with three top-10 finishes. The criminology and criminal justice major also earned All-GLVC honors for the second straight season and led the Tritons at the NCAA Division II Championships with a tie for 21st place finish.

Cope, who is majoring in business administration with an emphasis in international business, earns all-region accolades for the first time in his career after owning a team-best 75.03 scoring average behind six top-15 finishes, including four top-10 finishes.
