UMSL captured the team title at the Gilda’s Club Fall Laker Invite, hosted by Grand Valley State last weekend. Sophomore Stefaniya Ivanova shot a school record 141, while the Tritons carded a 610 (308-302), finishing seven strokes better than the host school.

Men’s Soccer
The University of Missouri–St. Louis went 1-0-1 last weekend, posting a 2-2 draw at Wisconsin-Parkside on Friday before earning a 2-0 win at Lewis on Sunday. Senior Jon Huelsman scored twice at Lewis and added an assist at UW-Parkside, while goals were scored by junior Nick Cherry and senior Tyler Collico. The shutout at Lewis also marked the team’s fourth this season. UMSL (4-3-1, 3-2-1 GLVC) will host Drury on Friday night and Missouri S&T on Sunday afternoon.

Women’s Soccer
UMSL won both games on its two-game road trip last weekend, picking up a 2-1 win at Wisconsin-Parkside on Friday – the program’s first over the Rangers since 2006 – and then a 4-0 victory at Lewis on Sunday. All six goals were scored by different players. The UMSL Tritons (4-1-2, 3-1-2 GLVC) hosts Drury and Missouri S&T on Friday and Sunday, respectively.

Volleyball
UMSL opened its home schedule on Friday with a sweep of Wisconsin-Parkside, but suffered a 3-1 loss to GLVC East Division leader Lewis on Saturday. Freshman Maddy Russell averaged 2.71 kills and 1.71 digs per set and recorded three service aces, while senior Lindsay Meyer averaged 5.57 assists and 3.71 digs per set. The Tritons (5-7, 2-2 GLVC) wraps up a three-match home stand on Tuesday, hosting Lindenwood in non-conference play before traveling to Drury on Friday and Missouri S&T on Saturday. UMSL will also play nonconference opponent Southern Arkansas on Saturday at Missouri S&T in part of a triangular.

Women’s Golf
Sophomore Stefaniya Ivanova won the individual title and helped UMSL to the team title at the Gilda’s Club Fall Laker Invite, hosted by Grand Valley State last weekend. Ivanova shot a school record 141, while the Tritons carded a 610 (308-302), finishing seven strokes better than the host school. UMSL will compete in the UIS Regional Preview this Saturday and Sunday.

Men’s Golf
UMSL took home the team title at the Brickyard Crossing, hosted by Indianapolis, last Monday and Tuesday, shooting a three-round score of 869, while sophomore Markus Lindberg earned his first collegiate medalist honors with a 214. The Tritons are competing in the DII Midwest Fall Regional in Chicago, Ill.

Women’s Tennis
UMSL competed at the ITA Midwest Regional last weekend. Sophomore Patricia Maya won her first round singles match, while senior Renee Verboven and freshman Jennifer Hauer each won a consolation singles match to highlight action. The Tritons will host their own UMSL Fall Tournament this Friday and Saturday.
