A crowd of educators traveled to St. Louis from every continent except Antarctica this week for the 43rd Association for Moral Education Annual Conference. Hosted by UMSL, the three-day gathering drew nearly 300 attendees to the Chase Park Plaza Hotel in the Central West End. Marvin Berkowitz (standing), the Sanford N. McDonnell Endowed Professor of Character Education at UMSL, played a key role in the event.
