Members of the University of Missouri–St. Louis Singing Actor’s Workshop Ensemble perform Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “A Grand Night for Singing!” on April 10 in the E. Desmond and Mary Ann Lee Theater at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center. It featured some of Rodgers and Hammerstein‘s biggest hits alongside lesser known songs in a musical revue conceived by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie.
It was one of a number of performances the Department of Music has planned over the remainder of the semester, including a Vocal Studio Class recital on April 30, an UMSL Choirs – featuring University Singers, Vocal Point and Voices of Jubilation – concert on May 5 and the UMSL Symphony Orchestra and UMSL Wind Ensemble concert on May 8.
