Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Steven J. Berberich has announced promotions for 24 tenure and non-tenure track faculty members at the University of Missouri–St. Louis for the 2025-26 academic year.
The promotions will take effect on Sept. 1.
“I am pleased to announce the promotions of these outstanding faculty members,” Berberich said. “They deserve praise for their dedication to serving our students as well as for their exceptional research and scholarship, which help impact people in community and far beyond. For the faculty members who received tenure, this marks an important milestone in their careers which has been earned with their extraordinary teaching, research and service. I applaud them and look forward to seeing them continue to advance in the years to come.”
Nine faculty members were granted tenure and four were awarded the rank of full professor. Of the 11 non-tenure track faculty members receiving promotions, one received the rank of full teaching professor.
