The Whitney R. Harris World Ecology Center at the University of Missouri­–St. Louis, in collaboration with Saint Louis University and St. Louis Community College, will co-present “Water Matters,” a five-part seminar series. The series will be held 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesdays from March 17 through April 14 in DuBourg Hall at SLU, 221 N. Grand Blvd. in St. Louis. “Water Matters” will focus on water issues at the city, state and regional level. It is open to the public and costs $50.

Guest speakers include, Patrick Osbourne, executive director of the Whitney R. Harris World Ecology Center at UMSL; Ben Abell, professor of meteorology at SLU and former St. Louis Public Radio | 90.7 KWMU  meteorologist; and Jean Ponzi, green resources manager at the EarthWays Center at the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis.
