What are the critical skill gaps experienced by the St. Louis business community?  How can St. Louis businesses and educational institutions collaborate together to close these critical skill gaps?

Keith Womer, dean of the College of Business Administration at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, and Steve Finkelstein, senior partner at Experience on Demand, will discuss “Critical Skills and Skill Gaps in St. Louis”  at 8 a.m. March 7 in the Student Government Association Chamber at the Millennium Student Center at the University of Missouri–St. Louis.

Womer and Finkelstein will share their findings regarding critical skill gaps, the impact the gaps have had on the St. Louis business community and how business leaders and scholars can work together to close the gap. Finkelstein earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UMSL in 1972.

The discussion is part of the monthly Breakfast & Business Series by the College of Business Administration at UMSL.
