University of Missouri–St. Louis junior pitcher Hannah Perryman has been named a First Team All-American by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) and a Second Team All-American by Daktronics, Inc./Division II Collegiate Commissioners Association, while senior first baseman Brianna Butler is a Third Team NFCA All-American and a Daktronics, Inc./DII CC Honorable Mention All-American.

Perryman, a criminology and criminal justice major, earns All-American status for the third straight year, having been a third team NFCA selection as a freshman and a second team honoree last season. She was also a second team Daktronics, Inc., pick as a freshman. Perryman, who was one of three finalists for the Schutt Sports/NFCA Division II Player of the Year, went 30-5 in the circle this season with a 1.33 ERA. The GLVC and Daktronics, Inc., Midwest Region Pitcher of the Year, tallied 17 shutouts and 398 strikeouts. A two-time NFCA Pitcher of the Week, Perryman recorded an NCAA record six perfect games this season. She also tied four-time All-American and Olympic gold medalist Cat Osterman (Texas) and NCAA DIII All-American Rachel Johnson of Salisbury for first among all NCAA Divisions with her seventh career perfect game in UMSL’s GLVC Tournament win over Rockhurst. She leads NCAA Division II in strikeouts per seven innings (12.6) and is second in hits allowed per seven innings (3.37), shutouts and total strikeouts and fifth in victories.

Butler, an education major, earns All-American status for the second straight year, repeating as a Daktronics, Inc., honorable mention pick. She started all 56 games at first base and led the team with a .362 batting average. She was second on the squad with 59 hits, including a team-high and single season record 18 home runs, which ranks ninth in NCAA Division II. A First Team All-GLVC selection and First Team All-Midwest Region honoree, Butler also led the squad with 48 RBIs and a .755 slugging percentage. She also drew a team-high 38 walks.
