“Inner Outer Landscape” by Marceline Saphian

A local five-person printmaking collective will showcase its work to open the 2010-11 season in Gallery FAB at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. “VISION/RE-VISION” will run Aug. 19 through Sept. 18. An artists’ reception will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 19 in the gallery. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

The show will display work by Ruth Kolker, Mary Mosblech, Mary Russe, Marceline Saphian and Joanne Stremsterfer. The artists’ use the process of printmaking to create work that is rich in dialogue concerning relationships in texture, intuitive marks and color palette.

The “VISION/RE-VISION” is sponsored by the Department of Art and Art History at UMSL.
