University Singers and Vocal Point will perform Nov. 12 at the Touhill at UMSL.

The University Singers and acclaimed a cappella group Vocal Point will perform their annual fall concert Nov. 12 at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center at the University of Missouri–St. Louis.

Formed in the fall of 2005, Vocal Point has distinguished itself as one of St. Louis’s premiere a cappella ensembles. The group consists of about 20 singers, who are selected by audition. University Singers is a 45-voice auditioned concert choir open to students of all majors at UMSL. Both ensembles will perform under the direction of Jim Henry, associate professor of music and director of choral studies at UMSL.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Anheuser-Busch Performance Hall at the Touhill. It is free and open to the public.

The event is sponsored by the Department of Music at UMSL.
