For the UMSL students taking English 4370: Shakespeare: Tragedies and Romances this fall, Paul O’Mahony’s visit was an opportunity to deepen their understanding of and facility with Shakespeare’s poetic verse. The actor (pointing) focused on how to “drive the line” in ways that emphasize the meaning of a character’s speech.
