Jessica Hylton, the interim director of global students and experiences at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, took a selfie with new Tritons from around the world as UMSL welcomed 101 international students from 26 countries and five continents during Global Triton Welcome on Monday in the Millennium Student Center.

The group includes 51 bachelor’s students, 23 master’s students, 12 PhD students and 15 transfer students, and they’re pursuing 30 different majors. UMSL Global team members will lead them through a week of information sessions and activities to help them prepare for the start of the fall semester on Aug. 19.
