The University of Missouri–St. Louis Orchestra will perform at 7:30 p.m. March 24 in the E. Desmond and Mary Ann Lee Theater at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center at UMSL. The concert is free and open to the public.

UMSL Orchestra will perform Introduction and Rondo Capriccio, Op. 28 by Camille Saint-Saens, Concerto for Piano and Orchestra in A Minor, Op. 16 by Edvard Grieg and Serenade No. 1 in D Major, Op. 11 by Johannes Brahms.

The concert will feature solos by UMSL students Mei Mey Segura Wang and Daniel Dickson, winners of the university’s 2009-10 Concerto Competition.

James Richards, associate dean for academic affairs in the College of Fine Arts and Communication at UMSL, conducts the orchestra.

The Touhill is on UMSL’s North Campus, One University Blvd. in St. Louis, Mo. (63121). The concert is sponsored by the Department of Music at UMSL.
