Global Game Jam

Description: From Jan. 27 to Jan. 29, 2012, UMSL’s Information Systems Programming Club will host the Global Game Jam in 410 Social Science & Business Building (Building 11). UMSL will be the only site in the state of Missouri. The Global Game Jam is an annual event in which participants design and create digital as well as non-digital games over the course of one weekend. The International Game Developers Association organizes the event. At each site, participants gather to develop ideas, form small groups, create new, creative, innovative games, and present them to their peers and the global community, all in the course of 48 hours.

Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Theater

Lonely Esther receives a letter from George, a Bajan laborer working on the Panama Canal. Esther’s response to George’s letters, written on her behalf by both Mrs. Van Buren and Mayme, set her life on a romantic collision with George. National Counselor Exam Preparation Workshop
