Cougar Ecology, Behavior & Verification Workshop

Description: 2-Day Workshop for the Curious: Homeowners, Landowners, Educators, Naturalists, Ecologists and Outdoor Enthusiasts. Secretive and elusive, the creature of myths and rumors—and capable of killing people—cougars stir our imagination, curiosity and fear. Improve your knowledge of cougars, their presence, dangers and management. Jim and Jeff will also cover cougar ecology, cougars in Missouri, and how cougars interact at the human interface. If you are interested in cougars and want in-depth training in the topics above, then this is the workshop for you. Fee: $125 (plus $12.50 for course workbook).

Description: Moliere’s classic farce comes to life in a bold, new production at UMSL’s Touhill Performing Arts Center. The religious hypocrite Tartuffe has wormed his way into the once ordered household and vulnerable heart of substantial merchant Orgon. Under the guise of piety, he looks set to succeed in driving away the son, marrying the daughter, seducing the wife, imprisoning Orgon and leaving the family destitute. Railed against as a sacrilegious outrage by the church, the play was banned from public performance by Louis XIV in 1664. Tickets are $5 with student ID and $10 for the general public.

Yellowstone Wolves: Restoration, Science & Management
