VOLLEYBALL

The UMSL volleyball team saw its season come to an end Friday afternoon with a 3-2 loss to Lewis University (Romeoville, Ill.) in the quarterfinal round of the 2012 Great Lakes Valley Conference Volleyball Tournament. The Tritons were paced by senior Liz Jaeger’s 15 kills and career-best 28 digs, while freshman Lindsay Meyer equaled a season-best 51 assists and 19 digs. UMSL finished the 2012 campaign with a 13-18 record.
