Noted labor economist, author and political commentator Julianne Malveaux speaks Jan. 21 in the Anheuser-Busch Performance Hall at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. Her lecture was part of the university’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Observance. More than 800 guests attended the program, which included musical performances by The Dickson String Quartet, Normandy High School Jazz Band and Trinity Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Mass Choir. Elaina Rohlfing finds calling in computer science at UMSL, begins pursuit of PhD
Rohlfing is continuing to work in Assistant Professor Azim Ahmadzadeh’s lab conducting research on solar flares after finishing the accelerated master’s program in December.
