Women’s Basketball
The University of Missouri–St. Louis (12-5, 5-4 Great Lakes Valley Conference) snapped a four-game losing streak on Saturday by posting an 80-67 win at Missouri S&T. The UMSL Tritons began the weekend with a 74-71 loss at No. 9 ranked Drury on Thursday. Alyssa Like led the Tritons with 17 points in the loss, while Alexis Lawrence drained six three-pointers, finishing with 20 points in the win. UMSL begins a four-game homestand this Thursday, hosting William Jewell before entertaining Rockhurst on Saturday.

UMSL (10-7, 4-5 GLVC) came up short in a 76-73 loss at No. 5 ranked and defending national champion Drury last Thursday and then saw Missouri S&T use a 19-6 run to end the game en route to handing the Tritons an 85-79 loss on Saturday. Tylor Wimbish averaged 23.5 points per game and has now scored 20-plus in three straight outings. UMSL hosts William Jewell on Thursday in the start of a four-game homestand before entertaining Rockhurst on Saturday.
