Hannah Barrie (center) introduces a “new move, new thought” monologue exercise while working with UMSL students in Matthew Kerns’ Shakespeare and Verse Acting course last Thursday in the Arts Administration Building. Later on in the class, the students performed prepared monologues for each other and for Barrie, who offered immediate feedback and ideas for enhancing their technique.
