An upcoming faculty recital will feature University of Missouri–St. Louis pianist Alla Voskoboynikova, cellist Kurt Baldwin of the Arianna String Quartet and music composed by Barbara Harbach, professor of music.

Presented by the UMSL Department of Music, the faculty recital will be held at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 4, in the E. Desmond and Mary Ann Lee Theater at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center. The performance is free and open to the public.

The evening will be a celebration of piano music from different styles and periods, starting from the brilliant Domenico Scarlatti and traveling through time with the French impressionist Maurice Ravel and the passionate Sergei Rachmaninov.
