First Alert 4 tapped Mohi Saki, an assistant professor of physics and astronomy, to discuss last month’s total solar eclipse. Saki demonstrated three ways to make homemade solar eclipse viewing devices.
The Webster Journal profiled Maria A. Ellis, a music education alum and prominent conductor. Ellis founded the All-Star Youth Chorus as well as Girl Conductor, which has taken her across the country to lead clinics with choirs and music groups. Last June, she conducted singers from choruses across the country at Carnegie Hall.
Lily Clark, an UMSL MBA graduate, and her sister Lucy were featured in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The sisters founded Bo.co, a mobile boba tea company, that sells unique riffs on boba tea within Urban Eats (a shared kitchen and food incubator in St. Louis’ Dutchtown neighborhood) and at the Soulard Farmers Market on Saturdays.
