Did you know you can obtain a passport at the University of Missouri–St. Louis? And since it’s done by appointment only, there’s no waiting.
Bob Ell, coordinator of programs and special events for International Studies and Programs at UMSL, recommends using the university’s passport services office to acquire your passport.
“Due to the current processing times, if you’re planning to travel this holiday season, now is the time to apply for a passport,” Ell said. “It’s four to six weeks for a routine application and two to three weeks for an expedited application with overnight return delivery service.”
UMSL’s International Studies and Programs passport services office is located at 302 Social Sciences & Business Building. Those wishing to apply for a passport must make an appointment to do so. Appointments are available during business hours Monday through Friday.
Current wait times and fees can be found at travel.state.gov. Call 314-516-7297 or visit umsl.edu/services/cis/Passport.html for more information or to make an appointment.
