Soccer players from Uganda

Soccer equipment and monetary donations made at the UMSL Tritons soccer games Sunday will benefit orphans in Uganda through the Field of Dreams nonprofit organization.

Joining the University of Missouri–St. Louis men’s and women’s soccer teams on Sunday will be the organization Fields of Dreams Uganda. This nonprofit group has the mission of providing hope for the orphaned and vulnerable children of Uganda through the vehicles of soccer and education.

Any new or gently used soccer equipment is being accepted and will be distributed to the Fields of Dreams partner orphanages in Uganda. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase handmade items from Uganda, or give a monetary donation to help with this great cause.

Anyone who donates an item will receive $2 off their ticket price.
