2 UMSL alumni named to St. Louis Business Journal’s 2015 40 Under 40

The annual list recognizes individuals in the St. Louis community who have made an impact in the business world before reaching the age of 40.

St. Louis Business Journal: 40 Under 40

More than 750 individuals were nominated for the St. Louis Business Journal’s 2015 40 Under 40 class. Two University of Missouri–St. Louis alumni are among the young professionals being honored.

The annual list recognizes individuals in the St. Louis community who have made an impact in the business world before reaching the age of 40.

UMSL alumni honorees are:

Santiago Beltran (MBA 2011)
Bryon Crump (MBA 2002)

Beltran, 34, is logistics planner and business analyst for Build-A-Bear Workshop in Overland, Mo. He started as an intern for the company in 2004, and worked his way up from distribution to transportation analyst to logistics. Beltran is a member and treasurer of ALPFA – Empowering Latino Leaders, St. Louis Chapter and a member of the Hispanic Educational Cultural and Scholarship Fund.

Crump, 39, is vice president of sales for EnviroPAK in Earth City, Mo. The company uses recycled newspaper mixed with water to create paper packaging trays to hold electronics equipment and other large items in place during shipping. Fourteen years ago, Crump started as a designer at EnviroPAK working with product development. He worked his way up to being a principal part-owner.
