Research administrator joins international editiorial board

Nasser Arshadi, vice provost for research at UMSL, joins international editorial board.

Nasser Arshadi, vice provost for research and professor of finance at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, has joined the editorial board of the international research journal “Public and Municipal Finance.” The journal addresses theoretical and empirical issues related to public and municipal financial management, financial systems, government budget and budgets of the municipal units, among others.

“With the recent economic recession in the U.S. and rest of the world, public finance issues and problems have once again become urgent topics in light of stimulus spending, budget deficits and unemployment,” Arshadi said. “This journal provides a global perspective on the topic. I am happy to contribute to this effort.”
