Optometry student groups at the University of Missouri–St. Louis are conducting an eyeglasses drive now through Feb. 19 at two locations on campus. Donations can be dropped off at the Millennium Student Center Bridge on UMSL’s North Campus and the Marillac Hall lobby on UMSL’s South Campus.

Students also will accept eyeglasses at the Finding Hope for Haiti Benefit Concert from 7 to 10 p.m. Feb. 11 in Pilot House at the Millennium Student Center at UMSL. The concert will feature performances by Massive Hi-Fi, Soul Era and Jaclyn Pierce.

The donated eyeglasses will be redistributed to people in need in Haiti and other developing countries. UMSL student groups involved in the drive include Student Volunteer Optometric Services, the Pre-Optometry Student Club and the National Optometric Student Association.
