Several local outlets, including First Alert 4, Fox 2 Now, and the St. Louis Business Journal highlighted the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center‘s plans to expand entrepreneurship programming at UMSL and the announcement of the latest Anchor Accelerator cohort. Scott Morris, executive director of the EIC, also touted a $3 million investment in the center’s facilities.

National and local news media, including the Associated Press, Hawkeye Report and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reported on Beth Goetz‘s appointment as athletic director at the University of Iowa. Goetz got her start in athletics administration at UMSL, coaching the women’s soccer team. She also earned a master’s degree at the university and was inducted into the UMSL Sports Hall of Fame in 2014.
