Featured stories:

Several local news outlets, including Fox 2 Now and KSDK, covered the UMSL women’s soccer team’s historic run in Division II NCAA Tournament. The Tritons won a share of the GLVC regular-season title and reached the national quarterfinals for the first time since 1982. The team’s season ended with a 3-2 loss to Washburn.

The local media, including Missouri Business Alert, St. Louis Business Journal and St. Louis Post-Dispatch, also featured the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center’s announcement of its 2026 Anchor Accelerator cohort. The program will grant nine entrepreneurs of a total of $90,000.

Forbes tapped Tonya Haynes, the director of clinical operations and associate teaching professor in the College of Nursing, for tips on traveling for individuals with disabilities. Haynes, who is also a Champion of Change with Autism Speaks, relayed what she learned on a recent family trip to California.
