To get you primed for St. Patrick’s Day next weekend, the University of Missouri–St. Louis will present a concert of traditional Irish music and dance.

The concert will feature Eileen Gannon, who specializes in playing the Irish harp. She’ll perform at 11:30 a.m. on March 9 at the E. Desmond and Mary Ann Lee Theater at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center at UMSL. James Mounsey, a music lecturer at UMSL will also be on hand for the festivities.

The show is free and open to the public. It’s sponsored by the Smurfit-Stone Endowed Professorship in Irish Studies at UMSL, International Studies and Programs at UMSL and the St. Louis Irish Arts.
