First Alert 4‘s Jacob Cersosimo caught up with Scott Eul, head coach of the UMSL baseball team, to discuss the team’s recent turnaround. A new mentality brought more wins and a berth in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament for the first time in a decade. “We’re gonna steal a lot of bases,” Eul said. “We’re gonna compete in the strike zone. We’re gonna play hard, play fast.”
Feast Magazine featured Nick Boyd, an entrepreneurship alum, and his Florissant restaurant, Big Belly Deli. Before founding Big Belly, Boyd worked in restaurants such as Farotto’s in Webster Groves. He also established a non-profit community garden called fRoot-Snacks Farm in Florissant and operates a five-acre garlic plot at Confluence Farms.
Associate Professor Adrian Udani and Founders Professor Uma Segal joined St. Louis Public Radio’s Elaine Cha on “St. Louis on the Air” to discuss immigration. The pair touched on what’s often missing from immigration debates.
