The University of Missouri–St. Louis recorded a pair of road Great Lakes Valley Conference victories last weekend, defeating William Jewell, 2-1, on Friday night before garnering a 2-1 win at No. 8 ranked Rockhurst on Sunday. Sophomore Jon Huelsman scored three goals for the UMSL Tritons, including both in the upset victory over the Hawks. The Tritons (6-6, 5-5 GLVC) close out the home portion of their schedule this weekend, hosting Illinois Springfield on Friday and Southern Indiana on Sunday.
The University of Missouri–St. Louis went 2-0 on the weekend, posting a pair of shutout victories in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. The UMSL Tritons defeated Saint Joseph’s 2-0 on Friday night with goals from Jaylon Griffith and Jessica Mincher before picking up a 1-0 victory over Indianapolis on Sunday behind the game-winner from Hannah Kaloupek. The Tritons (4-2, 2-2 GLVC) return to the road this weekend, traveling to Wisconsin-Parkside on Friday and to Lewis on Sunday.

The University of Missouri–St. Louis women’s golf team posted its third straight top three finish at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship, finishing in second place at the league’s annual tournament, held on Saturday and Sunday at Annbriar Golf Club in Waterloo, Ill.
The idea grew from a class last spring in advertising techniques taught by Kristy Tucciarone, associate teaching professor of media studies at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. At the time, the university was planning the yearlong Jubilee celebration of its 50th anniversary in 2013.
