The Midwest Digital Marketing Conference or MDMC is an upcoming event that will be hosted in St. Louis, Missouri. The event will be taking place on April 12th & 13th at Union Station. In preparation for the conference UMSL Digital had a Twitter chat with Raashi Rosenberger of Pinterest.
Raashi Rosenberger is the Creative Strategy lead at Pinterest, which means she works on creatives for brands that advertise on Pinterest. Pinterest is a social network that allows users to visually share and discover new interests by posting images or videos to their boards and browsing what other users have pinned.
Here are some question and answers that were discussed during the Twitter chat with Raashi:
With your experience at Pinterest, what are ways you can use social media to increase your online presence?
Social media can increase your digital footprint, but at Pinterest (we) believe social isn’t the only way. We believe in finding what you love on Pinterest, and that isn’t ‘social’, but it is enriching you own life.
What has been your favorite memory working at Pinterest?
I get to work with a really creative team every day. My favorite memories have been working with agencies on new technology.
How do you take advantage of conferences like MDMC to better yourself and your employer?
Most important is to show up – for real. Don’t just attend – really listen and ask questions. Reach out to speakers in advance, and try to grab coffee with them to chat about their career path!
