Registration is open for the May 7 conference, which will bring together emerging leaders and C-suite executives from different sectors across the St. Louis region.
Information systems and technology student Brian Simcoke led efforts to organize the event, which drew nearly 100 participants to the MSC.
Bernard Bracy highlighted the unique experiential learning opportunities available to UMSL students through the Supply Chain Analytics Center of Excellence.
Faculty members and former student participants shared information about educational programs in international destinations in Europe, Central America and Asia.
The university also scored highly among online bachelor’s programs for veterans and was No. 33 nationally in the Best Online MBA rankings.
The award is presented to up to three staff or faculty members each month in recognition of their efforts to transform the lives of UMSL students and the wider community.
More than 300 people attended the celebration, which featured several musical performances and a keynote address from Marian Middle School President Mary Elizabeth Grimes.
Perry earned his degree with an emphasis in information systems and technology and received an Outstanding Student Award from the Ed G. Smith College of Business.
The university was one of 237 higher education institutions recognized for its commitment to community engagement.
